Friday Favorites

HELLO FRIDAY!!!

YAY!! The weekend is here :)
Busy weekend we got going over here but lots of good times ahead!

My springtime buffalo burgers!!! Not only were they delicious the first day, they were EVEN better the second day for a wrap lunch :)

TWO.

THIS. This is hilarious. I did not get a chance to try them, but 

I do not think I missed much :) 

THREE.

My culinary arts III class made these for our admin assistants all 

this week. Planning.Prep. Construction. It was LONG but worth!

FOUR.

DEAD LAUGHING. No joke though how delicious does this look?

I bought this from the outlet sale and I cannot WAIT until it arrives! 

I am feeling a new fall bag. So New school year I will break this baby out :)

What we're eating this week:

(LOCALS! On Friday the Hersey Water Polo team is having a fundraiser at the Chipotle in Randhurst. Head on over for an easy and delicious Friday night dinner!

What I'm reminiscing about:
This school year. This was my first year at HHS and it FLEW by. I am coming back next year and teaching some GREAT classes :) I feel like as I get older the years go by faster and faster.

What I'm loving:
The warm spring weather we have been having!! Windows and screen door open right when we get home until we go to bed! LOVE!

What we've been up to:
Pat's water polo is wrapping up so he has had a busy few weeks with that.

I have been grading, planning and prepping for the last few weeks of school. Our seniors are done on May 11th. HOLY COW!!!

What I'm dreading:
RAIN!!! We are supposed to drop in temp and have ALL THE RAIN the newt few days :(

What I'm working on:

What I'm excited about:

Next weekend we get to celebrate this kid.
My baby brother is graduating from IU. And everyone will be in attendance :)

What I'm Watching/Reading:
Watching: I started The OC for the 10000th time.

Reading: The Magnolia Story By: Chip and Joanna Gaines
-I need to meet and be friends with them.

What I'm listening to:

-Walk The Moon

It is so catchy and upbeat!

What I'm wearing:
All ISU gear! This week is college week at school, so we have been all jeans and t shirts for the past few days. #redbirdforlife

What I'm doing this weekend:
Heading up to see family in Wisconsin for my godson's communion :)

What I'm looking forward to next month:
SUMMER VACATION!!!!
Our summer begins May 25th and I am BEYOND ready for summer weather and summer stuff!

What else is new:
Grad school starts May 4th.- I feel like I need a new backpack and new clothes for this :)

Table Talk Tuesday- Buffalo Burgers

Here we are TUESDAY!!! We have been having BEAUTIFUL 

weather here lately and I felt that warm weather called for 

some good spring like burgers!

Now those of you who follow regularly know:

1. We love simplicity 

2. We love buffalo sauce

3. GOOD leftovers deserve credit

So here we are.....

Simple Buffalo Burgers 

Here is what you will Need:

1/2 lb. ground chicken 

1/2 lb. ground veal 

1 t. dried parsley 

1 t. dried chives

1/2 C. bread crumbs

1 t. onion powder

1 t. garlic powder

1/4 C. Buffalo sauce 

Here is what you will do:

1. Add veal & chicken to bowl.

2. Add all dry ingredients.

3. Using your hands, thoroughly combine ALL ingredients. 

4. Combine patties with your hands. Be sure to not make them too thick or too thin.

5. Lightly spray your skillet.

6. Cook patties about 4 at a time on medium to high heat. Each side about 3-4 minutes until cooked all the way through.

7. Serve on toasted buns. Top with lettuce, ranch and green onions :)

8. Serve & Enjoy!

Super simple. Super delish!!

I re-decorated my Painted Fox Home- (The English Sparrow) tray for spring :)

I had the BEST luck finding cute knick-knacks at Hobby Lobby!

FIVE.

Brought this back out! The onions in the cauliflower rice left a funky smell the
other night in the kitchen and mixed with the humidity.......
the diffuser did the job to make our home smell wonderful :)
