----------------------------------------------------------------------

SO here we are 1 week away!

Today I am sharing another one of my favorite
appetizers.

My mom has made these for the past few years
and they are beyond addicting.

They are easy, delicious and your family will be asking
for them all year round!

Bacon Wrapped Chestnuts
Whole Water Chestnuts
Soy Sauce
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Toothpicks

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

1. Drain your chestnuts, then soak them in soy sauce.

2. As your chestnuts are soaking, cut your strips of bacon in half.
3. Take one chestnut and roll it up in one slice of bacon.
4. Put a toothpick in the center to secure the bacon to the chestnut.
5. Place in a casserole or 8x8 baking dish.
6. Repeat until all chestnuts are wrapped.
7. Add a few drops of soy sauce to the top of the wrapped chestnuts, then add a
crap-load ( yes crap-load) of brown sugar on top.

When I made mine my mom told me to add as much brown sugar as
Possible! Which she was right :)

This picture was before she told me I was lacking brown sugar!!
ADD IT ALL!!

8. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

9. Serve and ENJOY!!!

They were divine yesterday and I cannot wait to make them multiple
times this week!!

XO
