Prosciutto & Ricotta Appetizer

Happy Tuesday!!!

I just love this week.

You can feel the holidays approaching and 
the seasons changing!

Today I am sharing a FABULOUS
appetizer for your Thanksgiving 
get together on Thursday!


My friend Kara 
had us over this summer and 
made this delicious appetizer.

I was obsessed and would go back and look
at the pictures I took of it because it 
was just THAT good.

It is easy to prepare and I mean who doesn't love prosciutto?

You can always use as much as or as little as your heart desires!


Prosciutto & Ricotta  Cracker Appetizer 
 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
1 T. minced garlic
1 1/2 t. olive oil
1/2 lb. thinly sliced prosciutto
1 box pita crackers 
Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Honey( for drizzling)

1. In a large mixing bowl add ricotta cheese, garlic, olive oil and s & p. 
2. Stir until combined and set aside.
3. Cut prosciutto into triangles that will fit on top of your crackers.
4. Using a flat edge spatula or butter knife, spread enough of the ricotta mixture 
to cover the top of the cracker.
5.Place a piece of prosciutto on each cracker and 
fold the prosciutto triangle corners on top of each other.
6. Before serving drizzle honey on top of the crackers and finish 
with a sprinkle of oregano!
