Lots of Recapping- Graduation & Birthday Celebrations

Yall. This weekend was FULL of family and fun.

We celebrated Erich on Friday night and all day Saturday!

On Sunday we celebrated Pat :)

So here we go here is the weekend recap!

I saw this image this weekend and knew I had to keep it for a good post, and this post called for it.

Friday
We woke up and I surprised Pat with a couples massage!
We head to streets of Woodfield for massages at Asha Salon & Spa.
These massages were JUST what we needed after a long week of work, grad school and coaching.
We quickly headed home and got on the road to head to IU.

We made a stop in Indianapolis and Erich & Michelle met us there.
We ate a DIVINE dinner at St. Elmo's Steakhouse.
Since both brothers have now officially graduated from IU, St. Elmo's was our place to celebrate these Hoosier men :)

We made it to Bloomington just in time to head out with all the college kids!

Saturday
Came bright and early. We headed to Assembly Hall to watch the Bud Man graduate.
After a very nice ceremony, with a wonderful student speaker, we walked out to sunshine and warmth!

We were able to get some GREAT pictures with the graduate.

During the ceremony they showed creative graduation caps from the students on the big screen. I saw one that SCREAMED me and I had to snap it. I was too late and wasn't able to get it on camera. #sad

WELL just to my luck I happened to run into this graduate after pictures. Out of ALL THE IU GRADS, I saw her!!!
I said I was obsessed with her cap and needed a picture! She of course let me take one :)
#theonewhereigraduate

We headed to Erich's senior house to celebrate him and his friends.
They all lived in two houses with a large parking lot in between.
They catered BBQ food and SO many desserts were there to eat. I was in heaven!
We celebrated these fine young men all afternoon.

We didn't stay late as we wanted to get up and home to celebrate the birthday boy the next day!

Sunday
We loaded up the truck with a desk, mini fridge and dresser. #collegelife
Pat was the best and drove both ways to and from. He is a keeper!

We made it home in time to relax and celebrate with Pat's family.

Giordano's was the birthday boy's wish and of course we all agreed!

A fabulous family dinner with Chicago deep dish, followed by Portillo's chocolate cake!

It was so nice to spend time with both families this weekend and celebrate great occasions :)

To finish off a great weekend we watched last week's Survivor. AND even on demand we had NO commercials. #amen This was legit the cherry on top to a great weekend.

Life is short. Celebrate when you can. Hug your loved ones and Enjoy what you have been given.
